Story time: So as many of you know, walking the hallways at Scotus Central Catholic, you can see the state championship photos on the walls. Well…we are blessed in many ways, and after winning the state championship in Journalism last spring, we realized we have run out of room! So we are having to make the state championship photos a little smaller to fit for more growth for state championships.

What this means: We are selling our past state championship photos, this week is the 2014 Boys State Soccer Championship. This team that started the only state soccer threepeat in Nebraska High School history. They finished 16-3. This is your chance to own a piece of Scotus football history. The photos measure 43×33, they have a strong wire on the back for easy hanging.

The process: Anyone can place a bid by sending a direct message to Scotus Central Catholic on Facebook. The auction will run from Friday, May 13th at 8:00 AM to Friday, May 20th at 4:00 PM. The starting bids for all the photos will be $240, which is the cost to replace the old photos. Bids must be placed in increments of $20, but you can also set a max bid if you wish. If you are outbid, we will message you back on Facebook stating you have been out bid.

Every day we will update our social media channels with what the current bid is, up until the auction ends on Friday at 4:00 PM.

Payment and pickup: Payment can be made in cash, check or PayPal (LINK:…). Payment must be received one week after the auction. If you are paying with a check please make the check out to Scotus Central Catholic. Please pick up your photo one week after the auction is ended in the main office.

Conclusion: Funds for this project will go towards replacing all our state championship photos so they all match and are the same size. We hope you consider owning a piece of Shamrock state championship history!
