Gala 2021: Under the Big Top

The 40th annual Gala dinner/auction will be held on Saturday, April 17, 2021. This is the school’s largest annual fundraiser and all proceeds are used to balance the annual budget and keep tuition expenses low for our school families. At the present time, the Gala will be offered as an in-person event at Scotus, although it is likely that fewer reservations will be available due to attendance restrictions with COVID-19.
Everyone, including guests who are attending the Gala and those who stay home, will have the opportunity to bid online for the silent and super silent auction items, purchase chances for the jewelry box drawing and participate in the fund-a-need donation.
And, in addition to the Gala Lottery, we will offer the new Gala Raffle. We hope to involve our student body in this raffle which will offer a first prize of groceries for a year ($125.00 Hy-Vee gift card per month for 12 months) and a 2nd prize of a $500.00 Scheels gift card. Students will also get to earn an incentive prize if they sell a ticket!
New this year, the State of Nebraska will allow everyone to purchase lottery and raffle tickets online using their debit card. To purchase lottery or raffle tickets online, use the donate button on the school’s web site and be sure to tell us how many tickets for each drawing you are purchasing! Tickets are also available at school and from any Gala committee member.
If you would like to participate by donating an item for the silent or oral auctions, volunteer to help, or if you wish to receive an invitation to attend please contact our co-chairs, vice-chairs or Janice Rosenquist in the Scotus development office: 402 564 7165 ext. 154 or
