HOSA is an international student organization recognized by the U.S. Department of Education. HOSA’s two-fold mission is to promote career opportunities in the health care industry and to enhance the delivery of quality health care to all people. HOSA’s goal is to encourage students interested in a health career to be actively involved with an instructional organization.
HOSA’s mission is especially critical when considering the acute shortage of qualified workers for the health care industry. It is essential that the student-HOSA Partnership maintain its momentum.
Students will be involved in a local service project, attend workshops, and participate in the Student Leadership Conference by preparing for assessments in a particular health field. Students can qualify to compete at the International Leadership Conference in Florida next summer.
