January Scholarships
Due: 01/15/2020 – Amt. (6) -$1000-$1250
Any graduating high school senior, signature of Exalted Ruler, financial need, limit to one boy and one girl application per lodge based upon pre-judging at Club level.
Due: 01/15/2020 – Amt: $250 (potential application for additional $500)
Graduating Catholic female, completed application, academics, transcript, service, activities, essay and a priest recommendation.  Return application to RSWD President, Deanna Reardon at 50143 Central Highway Genoa, NE  68640.
Due:01/31/2020 – Amt: 3 (1-$1,000 and 2-$500)
This is a single year scholarship awarded to incoming male freshmen at UNL who display excellence in academics, motivation for personal success, with an interest in developing and applying leadership skills.
Due: 01/31/2020 – Amt: $4,000
Available to child, grandchild (step or legal ward) of a living Elk who joined the order prior to 04/01/2017.  ACT or SAT received prior to application deadline.  Recipients will be required to perform service once a year with an Elks Lodge during the four years receiving the scholarship.

February Scholarships
Due: 02/01/2020 – Amt. varies
Ne. resident, GPA 2.5+, first time college student planning to attend a Nebraska public college, financial need, completed application, SSN, Student Aid Report, two letters of recommendation, and essay.
Due: 02/01/2020 – Amt: $500
Applicant must be a member of high school golf team plan to participate in a college golf program, may attend either a two or four year program, with Exalted Ruler signature.  Limit one application per lodge after prejudging of application.
Due: 02/10/2020 – Amt. $1,000
High school senior employed or has a parent employed with HyVee, transcript, resume’, reference and ACT scores.
Due: 02/14/2020 – Amt. (4) $2,000
2020 graduates seeking to enroll in Nebraska colleges and universities on a full-time basis.  Preference given to students who will be pursuing newspaper journalism education.  Scholastic, citizenship, letter of reference, with scholarship funds paid directly to the post-secondary institution upon proof of first semester.

GPA of 3+, attend an institution of higher learning that will make an impact on the community in the interest of safety, essay on how their degree will make a difference in the lives of others.

Senior female, GPA 2.7+, preference given to daughter/granddaughter of P.E.O. Chapter member, goals, activities and leadership.

March Scholarships
Due: 03/01/2020 – Amt. Tuition
Merit and need based scholarship offered to UNO students that attend on-campus ONLY.  Academics, financial need, interview, English placement and proficiency exam, personal life-experience essay and references.  The final EPPE accepted is 02/21/2020.
Due: 03/01/2020 – Amt: up to $1,000
Son or daughter of an active stockholder of Frontier Cooperative doing a minimum of $5K in business, recipient must be accepted as a student to college or technical school majoring in Ag-related studies, demonstrating academic excellence and in top half of graduating class.  Return all paperwork to Frontier Cooperative, 3333 Landmark Circle, Lincoln, NE 68504.

Senior Female, leadership, volunteerism, GPA 3.0+, and volunteerism.
Due: 03/16/2020 – Amt: $500
Graduate, member of Columbus United Federal Credit Union, with an account in good standing, family members of Credit Union employees are not eligible, transcript, letter of acceptance to college, and essay 350 words or less.
Due: 03/16/2020 – Amt: $1,000
Graduating senior, Cornerstone Bank employees and their immediate family are ineligible, GPA, class rank, ACT, intended major, goals, school and community involvement.  Turn completed applications into the School Counseling Office.

Graduating senior, involvement in school/community, participation, and goals.  Completed applications must be received (or postmarked by 03/13) and returned to Optimist Club, P.O. Box 302, Columbus, NE  68601.

Graduating senior planning to be part of a trade and attend a technical school (HVAC or Heating and Air Conditioning preferred).  Completed applications should be turned into the Counselor’s Office

Due: 03/17/2020 – Amt: $1,000-2,000 (renewable up to 4 years)
Volunteerism, interests, career interest/goals, community and school involvement.  Completed applications can be turned into the School Counseling Office.

Due: 03/17/2020 – Amt. $1,000
Student planning to go into nursing, school and community involvement, career goals, volunteerism and interests.  Completed applications can be turned into the School Counseling Office.

Due: 03/24/2020 – Amt: $500
University of Nebraska bound students, with preference given to UNL, academics and future goals.

April Scholarships
Due: 04/01/2020 – Amt: $3,000 (renewable 2nd year)
For students pursuing a career in technical careers, ACT 18+,  transcript, resume, personal statement, three letters of reference, with completed packet received by April 1st to: BD Human Resources, Scholarships Program c/o Tami Freeland, 920 East 19th Street, Columbus, NE  68601.  The awardee will have a 2 year commitment to BD upon completion of his/her degree.  The scholarship money will be taxable upon graduation.

Due: 06/09/2020 – Amt: varying amts. up to (2) $500
Graduating STEM focused students planning to attend UNL, academics, character, involvement with interview.
