CAHRA
Due: 04/01/2019 – Amt: (2) $500
Students must be employed or have a family member employed with a company that is a member of the Columbus Area Human Resource Association, majoring in a Business or Human Resource program of study. Columbus Volunteer Firefighters Aux
Due: 04/01/2019 – Amt:$300
Graduating senior must be a child or grandchild of an active firefighter or Auxiliary member. Academics, transcript, extra curricular/school activities, references and personal statement. Completed applications are to be returned to: Arlys Wehrer, Columbus Fire Department, 1459 26th Ave, Columbus, NE 68601.

Davis Chambers
Due: 04/01/2019 – Amt: one-half annual commitment
Enrolled in 12 credit hours per semester at a Community College, completion of application, FAFSA, essay and transcript.

Lincoln Builder’s Bureau
Due: 04/01/2019 – Amt: $750
Applicants must be an employee or dependent of an employee. For eligibility, go to http://www.buildersbureau.com click on scholarships and membership search. Must be postmarked no later than April 1. Submit to: Lincoln Builders Bureau, 5910 S 58th St, Suite C, Lincoln, NE 68516.

Order of Eastern Star
Due: 04/01/2019 – Amt: $1,000
Graduating senior, good citizenship, character, activites, volunteerism, jobs and letter of recommendation.

Pink Bandana
Due: 04/01/2019 – Amt: $4,000 (payable $1K annually to 4 yr & $2K to 2yr)
Senior in Nebraska high school, be enrolled in 2 or 4 year college, a breast cancer survivor or has a parent diagnosed with the past 5 years. Completed applications to: Pink Bandana Attn: Scholarships PO Box 83282, Lincoln, Ne 68501.

Sertoma
Due: 04/01/2019 – Amt: $500
Academics, extra-curricular activities, goals and needs. Completed applications should be turned into Guidance Office.

Due: 04/01/2019 – Amt: $500
Must have been in the TeamMates program for at least 2 years and applied for at least one other scholarship.
Due: 04/04/2019 – Amt: varied upward to $500
Graduating seniors who have a minimum of B+ average, completed application with preference given to students planning to attend the University of Nebraska at Lincoln or any other campus within the University of Nebraska system.

Johnny Baxter
Due: 04/05/2019 – Amt: $1,500
Seniors planning to attend a Nebraska Community College in the fall of 2019, enrolled in one of the automotive related courses of study, letter of recommendation, cover letter, interview/reference from an area car dealer. Eligible students must be currently enrolled at Scotus grades 7-11, completed application and resume’ of activities and involvement.

Optimist
Due: 04/09/2019 – Amt: $500

Due: 04/12/2019 – Amt: $250
Graduating senior attending school in Platte, Polk, Butler, Boone or Colfax County, who has maintained a minimum of a “B” grade, who demonstrates talent in the visual art area and plans on an art major or minor in the post-secondary school.

CCC Summer $
Due: 04/15/2019 -Amt: $250
Current juniors and graduating seniors in 25 county service area, completed application and ACT scores for the course being applied to.

Farm Bureau
Due: 04/15/2019 – Amt: (2) $1,000
Graduating senior enrolled in post-secondary institution, resident of Platte County, preference given to Production Agriculture majors. Completed applications need to be returned to: Platte County Farm Bureau Office, 2921 23rd Street, Columbus, NE 68601

Due: 04/15/2019 – Amt: $500
Academic and career plans, community and school activities with an accompanying teacher recommendation.  Completed applications are turned into Guidance.

BD
Due: 04/27/2019 – Amt: $4,000
Student pursuing technical careers in: Electric/Electrical Mechanical, Mechatronics, Machine Tool, Mold Maker Manufacturing Engineering Tech. The award will pay out over 2 years ($2,000 annually). ACT 18+, GPA 2.5 or higher, must be admitted to the program prior to submission of application. Due: 04/30/2109 – Amt: $500
Major in Biological Sciences, completed application, payable to the student upon proof of enrollment in the college of his/her choice for the 1st semester of sophomore year.

May Scholarships

Due: 05/01/2019 – Amt: $500
Proof of enrollment to CCC, completed application, recommendations and transcript.  Completed application is to be returned to: American Legion, Hartman Post 84, P.O. Box 772, Columbus, NE  68601.

Norden Foundation
Due: 05/01/2019 – Amt: $1,000
Applicant wishing to pursue an educational experience or project pertaining to any of the five Scandinavian countries: Denmark, Finland, Iceland, Norway and Sweden. Reside within a 100-mile radius of Lincoln, completed application, 250-300 word description of proposed course of study or activity and how it would fulfill the Foundation goals. Recipient will be asked to present a short program about their educational/project experience.

June Scholarships

Due: 06/15/2019 – Amt: varies
Students seeking to pursue career or technical education in a post-secondary environment.

August Scholarships

Due: 08/23/19 – Amt: $500
